May I have some assistance

As you probably don't know. I have recently got a laptop for Christmas and the first thing I do is install all the programs LoL Mc Microsoft Adobe etc the next thing is I try to play some N and for some reason there is a huge delay of the time that the button is clicked and the reaction on the screen? Have any of you guys had a problem like this if so is there any fix??
