I like the ideas of being able to play co-op games on-line and definitely every level needs a ninja, key, and door.

James, another thing they could add is that if you are the fat N, you jump higher on jump pads, but your normal jump height would be decreased and your running speed would be twice as low of the as the speed of normal N.

It would be handy to display your score at the side of the screen, cuz then you dont have to finish the level to see if you got a highscore.
I would just restart the level when i see my score is lower than my personal best.

Another idea (btw. I feel weird because last time only I and legendklokpok posted here) : Being able to create custom drone path (invisible or not). It should be a circuit, but if it'd be not, then if drone would "fall of" the track, he'd continue going with the turning set (e.g. turning right on every wall contact).

I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but it would be nice if N 2.0 was connected to NUMA the way 1.4 is, since its an awesome sharing tool

Reffering to legendklokpok's and james_s' idea, You can create your own level series, also, You can set the doors as each door will move You to a different another level, like, the door that is easier to get to, will just move You to the next level and another, harder to get to door, will move You to a bonus room or something.
Postscript: If You won't choose the door which is moving You to certain level, that level will be locked or invisible for You.

nah im talking about invisibility towards the drones..
the player can physically see himself/herself...
BUT the drones cant like you can walk/run right past them

*another powerup can be invulnerability for a specific amount of time

hmmm, would be a good idea for a mod (
would be pretty cool since the are currently no mods for nv2.0), but i dont really like to have power-ups in levels.

Spartax :) . Your bonus map idea sounds to me like, those things u drop through to get to a secret area in Supermario. Pretty cool although I'm not keen on anything that will enlarge maps personally cause its hard enough as it is (thats why im not v keen on metanet episodes too). Drone paths sound cool but when mapping thinking up how to get a drone to move where you want it to move is often a good challenge.. In n1.4 i saw that you can use a cheat code to make a drone still

My friend gave me an idea of water in N. He said there was a similiar thing in N+ (I don't know if it's true since I didn't play N+). I don't really know how would it work... Maybe it would just slow down or maybe ninja could drown in it - though let's remember that N is a simple game so maybe it's too complex. So I just gave You the info, You can think about it and share Your opinions and sub-ideas.

I keep loosing that nreality water map, I'll try find it  (Btw I expanded my quite large post here heh page2)

here's that map (highly recommended -well to check out anyway, the map is hard..)  http://www.nmaps.net/200164   <<<<wait its broken? :s I followed his instructions to replace the image but the map fails to load.

It does remind me though that it doesnt really make sense how the ninja can float left or right in mid air but cant control his falling speed (I guess M&R thought that would be too many controls -but might help for water gameplay)

My suggestions:
1.All options from Special Object Position Template you have in editor.
2.Rocket mode: one player is a ninja, second player play as rocket turret. He can fire only one rocket at time, but he control the rocket. He can crash rocket on the ground and fire the next rocket. Ninja must go to exit. Second player must defend exit.
3.Devastation mode: This mode is the same like normal mode but.... You can destroy the grey ground and other objects (like drones). You haven't a gun but you can use rocket turret to own ideas. If the rocket miss You and hit the ground- then ground destroyed (You play at Worms? ). So You can make a new way to exit for example. Rocket can hit not only You, drones are also dangered.
