Top 3 music artists?
Hey, as you can see from the title, i'm wondering what are people's favorite music artists. I know it's usually hard to choose - for me it's specially hard, but i was listening to looots of music lately and i got an impulse.
Here are my 3 favorite artists:
1.Foo Fighters - every song is flawlesss
2.blink-182 - i got obsessed with 'em recently
3.System Of A Down - awesome memories €:
Note: if you want to, you can write more than 3 artists.

Re: Top 3 music artists?
I have a tendency to listen to one band for a few months, really like them, and then start listening to another band and totally forget about the first one, so this topic is kind of hard for me, but I'll have a go.
1. Gorillaz - At the very least, I like all of their songs, and I love most of them. I've been listening to their music pretty consistently for the last few years. (Can't wait for the new album!)
2. Nujabes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGfguhnvECc << because this (his other work is also amazing)
3. Brian Wilson - Just the songs "Good Vibrations" and "Heroes and Villains" are enough to convince me that this man is one of the greatest musical minds of all time.
There are also a number of other artists that I really like (The Beatles, Elton John, David Bowie, Billy Joel, Ben Folds, Daft Punk, Cake, Darren Korb, Area 11, the Talking Heads, the B-52s), and there are countless songs that I love but don't really care for the artist's other works, but these three artists never cease to amaze me.

Re: Top 3 music artists?
Sorry for making this long, but it's tough to say for me really. I really like a lot of the underground punk bands of the late 70s and 80s and some really weird bands from Japan. Most of the music I found over the years were through https://www.last.fm/ and https://rateyourmusic.com/ . If I had to narrow it down to just three, they would be:
1. Beat Happening - A seminal band to me which I found late of 2014. Their album You Turn Me On is probably my favorite album of all time due to its childish and coy nature. They can be a bit hard to get used to due to their somewhat awkward vocals and primitive sound, but once you get past that, they're absolutely amazing. Highlights: Bury the Hammer, Teenage Caveman and Bewitched.
2. Swans - Possibly the heaviest and hardest band to get into from this list, they guys have been creating mind-crushing music since the early 80s and continue doing so today. They have spanned many genres over the years, but have been keeping the heaviness and harshness levels at max. Soundtracks for the Blind, despite being over two hours long, is my favorite release from due to how varied it is. Highlights: Depends on where you start, but some of the tracks off the album I mentioned are on another level. They're most recent album. To Be Kind is cool as well.
3. Boris - An amazing band hailing from Japan whose discography is heavily varied, but have always been consistent throughout. Three of their albums, Flood, Boris at Last -Feedbacker- and Akuma no Uta are the ones I'm drawn to most often. The first two are mostly instrument with slow progressions, but are incredibly atmospheric and great. The last one is a short, but varied album which goes through drones, hardcore punk and progressive rock. Highlights: All of Flood and Feedbacker, Ibitsu and Ano Onna no Onryou.
There's a lot of honorable mentions, but I don't want to make this list too long. I also love receiving recommendations and giving them, so feel free to!

1. Porcupine Tree. (Steven Wilson is a genius, Prog at it's best, I like alomst everything they ever created.)
2. Leprous. (Very original sound, they try something new every album, yet it all sounds amazing. And the singer, Einar Solberg, is a BEAST)
3. Difficult one... At the moment probably Haken, I see them as sort of a darker version of Dream Theater. But tomorrow the number 3 pick could be Neil Cowley Trio (jazz) or Knife Party (EDM madness) or Rush (prog) or Dream Theater. And so on...
