Hello and welcome to the annual Nv2 Awards! This year's event has the same process as the last year's.
We have come up with a number of categories, and we ask You to nominate for them, to decide what will go into the final voting. As this is an annual process, all nominations must be within the last year.

1.Categories

This year we have quite a few more categories. If You could please nominate a couple of candidates for each category (MAX 3!), we'd appreciate it.

This year's categories are:

Player of the Year - choose a player who impressed You the most, on both userlevels and metanet levels
Mapper of the Year - same as above, except for that You choose a mapper
Community Member of the Year - choose a user who You think is the most friendly, helpful and creative
Biggest Improvement of the Year - choose a user (doesn't have to be a highscorer) who You think has improved the most throughout this year
Run of the year - choose a run/replay that in Your opinion was the best this year; we recommend you choosing a metanet level run
Innnovation of the year - here are some examples for this category (You CAN nominate them), in case finding them is difficult. To compare, watch older runs below the innovation:

2.Process

The first part of the event is nominating users for each category. That's where You start Your work. All You have to do is to write your nominee's username for each category as a reply to this post (max 3 nominees for each category (IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU NOMINATE THE SAME USER AS SOMEBODY ELSE, YOUR NOMINEE WILL BE ADDED TO A POLL ANYWAY)). All nominees will be put into a poll.
That's where the second part begins. You will have to choose one of the listed nominees that You think deserves the most to win. We will post a poll when the first part is over.
When the second part ends, we will announce the winners.

3.Terminology

The first part (nominating) will end on December 24 (of course, it has already started). The second part begins with the end of the first one (it will be approved with a post) and will end on January 1 (however, it may be even extended to January 3). Same as previousely, the winners will be officially announced with the end of the last part.

Well i haven't played much this year so I'll nominate what I can.

Player of the year: Swipenet; That guy came out of nowhere! JK. Probably shomman, i guess we can all agree on that.

Mapper of the year: I might be out there when I say this, but I really enjoyed Kind25's levels.

Community member: Going by the description, I gotta go with Miller.

Biggest Improvement: Toast and THUNDER. I've noticed Sam isn't always so low on the tables nowadays.

Innovation: My 21-3 and 76-1 :P ... Probably Nahoj's 14-0 (I'll never forgive him)

As for Mapping, I didn't really play enough. But for best art, maybe that Yu-Gi-Oh one? (Mainly because I wrecked the scrubs who can't wall climb).
