Automatic log out and drop settings

About twice a month I get automatically log out. When I log in (and find a paper with password 
) all my personal settings are dropped and turned to default. It's annoying to set again jump, pause, kill button to correct ones.
Am I alone with that, or anybody there also observed such a problem? Can it be associated with deleting cookies in web browser?
