How is this done?, magic

A collaboration on N is very easy. First you ask the user whether he / she wants to do to you a collaboration. responds it with yes, send you it a tileset that YOU has create, for example the tileset: www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=133137 . The other user with whom you just work together adorns the tileset you have passed on. When he is finished He says humble you, or does the data again with the tileset and the changed objects send to you.

I am for sure down to do a collab with somebody, however, I'm struggling with the tileset idea- basically how to link the person you are collabing with to the blocks you've put together. :/

There are a few ways to share levels while collaborating. The best way is to use this tool that sidke (from the 1.4 community) made:

You can paste your level data into that box, and click "paste as new map", and then just share the url it gives you with another player. It is very handy. shom and I use it a lot while setting up npoints.
You can also use this tool to convert your map data from v2 to 1.4. Since you're kind of new to the community side of this game, I will tell you that sidke is brilliant and you should appreciate everything he does for us all.
