A ranking system in N?

Okay, so I thought about this idea of being able to get "EXP" or just simply "points" in N-Game, in this topic I will tell you the whole idea.
Although this idea will probably never be implemented into N, I still want to share it with you all. As I think this is a pretty interesting idea

The Concept:

How to earn points:
As you know each user created map has a leaderboard with a maximum of 10 players.
Now let's say you just published a map and somebody finishes it, ofcourse he'll be on 1st spot and for that he'll get 10 points.
Another guy finishes it and beats the first guy, pushing the other one to the 2nd spot on the leaderboard.
This means that the first guy loses 1 point as the 2nd spot is worth 9 points.

The amount of points every spot gives you:
1st spot = 10 points
2nd spot = 9 points
3rd spot = 8 points
4th spot = 7 points
5th spot = 6 points
6th spot = 5 points
7th spot = 4 points
8th spot = 3 points
9th spot = 2 points
10th spot = 1 point

Another way to earn points:
Playing the built-in maps, made by Metanet. Every episode (a set of 5 maps) gives you 10 points. This means that when you have completed all of them you will get 1000 points (excluding the user made built-in ones). This will encourage alot of players to play the built-in maps.

I quickly put this together, I'll be posting more interface stuff later:


Problems:
Now this system will cause alot of problems and I put the solutions beneath them:
Problem: People will make super easy maps for them to finish
Solution: Maps in which 5 or more players get the exact same score will be deactivated for the point system

Problem: People will make tons and tons of garbage maps just to rank up
Solution: A limit on the maximum amount of maps you are allowed to publish every 24 hours + you can't score points on your own maps.

Problem: Die hard N players will play alot of old maps just to get more points.
Solution: Every map gets deactivated for earning points after exactly 7 days of being published. Getting a highscore is still possible you just won't get any points. Rated maps however will never be deactivated for earning points

I think it's a good idea, despite lots of problems, and the fact that it will never be added by Metanet (we can always hope )

hm I think it would work even better if it was limited to the metanet maps and the popular section only.  I like your solution of cancelling the points if many players max the level but maybe its still not quite enough.

It even arranges on your scores on the userlevels

this game is just a fun thing to do in spare time, IMO many more things need to be fixed before a ranking system is put in.
